About the project
We created the print layout and cover design with Rosemary for The Toorak Jackpot, using her ideas for the cover as inspiration and included Rosemary's own illustrations. In addition, Rosemary took our Marketing Stage 1 Package on board and we helped her develop her blurb and other metadata. With the print edition completed we distributed it via print-on-demand.

We also did the ebook conversion for The Toorak Jackpot, adjusting the colours to suit e-readers.

The mobi was released via Kindle's exclusive program and stayed enrolled in this program until February 2017 when it was distributed to all other vendors.

Rosemary really knew the way she wanted her book to look, and we enjoyed working with her to get it just right.

About the book
Before Rupert Murdoch married Jerry Hall and Tony Abbott was Prime Minister of Australia, enterprising shoe salesman Bert Smith got an offer he couldn’t refuse—to live the high life in Melbourne’s premier suburb—Toorak!

There was a catch, however…

He had to tell everyone within cooee that he was a prince—a Toorak prince!

And that’s when all the fun began for Bert!

Writing from her experience growing up in Toorak, Rosemary Macindoe blends a mélange of humour, satire and with a dash of poignancy in "The Toorak Jackpot". This modern fable, inspired by Dickens' "Great Expectations" explores what it means to be truly wealthy.
