About the project
This is the second time we’ve worked with LynMiller on the Adamadas Chronicles. This second book went just as smoothly as the first. We converted the manuscript into an epub and a mobi, then distributed them vendors. We also added the author’s website URL to the inside of the book. Her website has many extras for her readers, which we think is a real bonus. ...continue reading "North of Himal: Book Two of the Adamadas Chronicles"

About the project
Originally Arthur came to us for an edit, which we completed towards the end of 2014. Once that edit was completed and approved by Arthur, we moved on to creating an ebook. Using supplied imagery we created a cover that matched the tone and setting of the novel. This cover design inspired our Ebook Designer’s Touch™. The ebook came together very quickly, and we loaded it on all of our vendors.

Later down the track we designed some marketing materials for Arthur, for him to use at the 2015 Book Expo Australia (these can be seen below). ...continue reading "Black Ops Zulu: Pivotal Velocity"

About the project
We edited this short book before applying our Ebook Designer’s Touch™. The Ebook Designer’s Touch™ attempted to invoke a professional yet approachable style, as the book is intended for young professionals just heading into their first professional arena.

Graeme intends to distribute this book himself on Amazon Kindle, so we converted the book into a mobi for him. After some tweaking to make sure it looked its best on as many devices as possible, the book was ready to hand over to Graeme. We wish him the best of luck. ...continue reading "The 30 Minute Practicum Guide for Young Undergraduates"

About the project
Prior to doing the conversion of this manuscript we first edited the customer supplied manuscript. Once approved, we then designed the front cover using a variation of stock photos and medical icons. The conversion process was reasonably straight forward; however we had to ensure some tables were correctly formatted to ensure they function correctly in all ebook formats and devices. ...continue reading "Clinical Travel Medicine"

Ebook ISBN: 978-1-925177-54-1

About the project
Robert brought us a manuscript for his book ‘Echoes of Elgar’ as well as a some very interesting and enthusiastic ideas for the cover. After a few face to face discussions and other correspondence we created an intriguing, unique and eye-catching cover to help reflect the equally intriguing tale in Echoes of Elgar.

We converted his manuscript to a reflowing ePub and Mobi file for publishing across all five major vendors. ...continue reading "Echoes of Elgar"

About the project
After proofreading Marjolyn’s three books (one fiction, two non-fiction), we converted them from Word documents to epub and mobi files. There were some images and tables in the non-fiction books, so care was taken in keeping uniformity of size and quality of these images. We designed the covers in consultation with the author and are very pleased with the results.

In November/December 2014 our marketing team also ran a small campaign to promote the three books. This included:

  • ebook meta-data analysis for enhancing ebook sales
  • drafting a marketing plan
  • arranging a small no. of reviews and ads
  • designing and hosting the author’s website
  • Facebook, Goodreads and Shelfari author pages and management

About the book
Marjolyn Wayenberg, nee Terlaak, was born in the East Indies, now known as Indonesia. Her husband Robert was also born there.

Being from Dutch background, Marjolyn learned to speak English at the age of twelve and became a teacher.

While teaching and having four children, she went on to learn many healing modalities on a part-time basis.

She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in 1994. Over the next decade, it became increasingly difficult to manage. It became so bad that she wished she could die until…

Marjolyn realised as time went on that the predictions her mother-in-law had made a decade earlier were starting to come to fruition. The last one being: ‘Your legs will be all right.’

Read about her journey towards healing.

About the book
As we pray, in our desperation we often ask for ‘salvation’ or a ‘miracle’ to be delivered from hardships and trials. Remember, we are part of God, and He wants us to trust that we are His, made in his image, have inherited God’s qualities and are powerful.

Rather than ask for a miracle, BE THE MIRACLE.

Continuing on from Read the Signs, this book reveals more of the story behind MarjolynWayenberg and her battle with MS. Read how her positive outlook and knowledge of spiritual healing is enabling her to cope with multiple sclerosis.

She has even tried the controversial “Bee Treatment”, allowing bees to sting her, which returned sensitivity to parts of her body that had become numb.

Marjolyn holds nothing back in her candid account of how MS has affected her body and her life. The reality may be harsh but the truth of healing will be an inspiration to you.

Contributors: Anne M Brown (Author)

About the project
We proofread Anne’s manuscript before we converted it to epub and mobi. We designed the cover based on Anne’s brief then loaded it all to ebook vendors. It was a pleasure working with Anne and we hope she does well in the future.

About the book
James was desperately in need of a family. His life so far had been traumatic. Neglected and abused by his birth parents, separated from his brother and with a string of foster homes, institutional stays and a failed adoption, James had grown into an anti-social ten year old at war with the world. His social workers were beginning to wonder if they would ever be able to find a family for their damaged young charge.

The Brown family felt it was time to expand their family. For months they had participating in the preparation required for a permanent adoption placement. The social workers running the Special Needs Adoption Program pulled no punches. It was going to take a lot of skill, patience and flexibility to cope with one of their damaged children. The Brown family believed they were up to the challenge.

This was a long creative process, but it was well worth the effort. Elaine had Love, Justice (the second book in her Beautiful Lives series) professionally edited before she handed the manuscript to us. We designed the book for print, including the cover, based on her previous book’s design. After the print layout was finished we converted the book to reflowing epub and mobi. We also coordinated the offset printing of 500 copies as well as aggregating the ebook to vendors.

About the book

Justice sees the injustice in the world and gets frustrated that she can’t do anything significant about it. She has a sponsor child in Rwanda, but she wants to do so much more.

World peace, an end to end poverty and justice for all become her goals, especially after she meets Seth, the charismatic boy with dreadlocks and sea-green eyes at a peace rally.

Just when she is figuring things out and becoming involved in the peace movement, her father returns. He brings Emily with him, a young woman who is now supposed to become a part of their family.

Dad assumes they will accept Emily, but has no concept of the emotions this will stir up.

Sometimes life isn’t fair, but we have to find a way to do the right thing.

About the project
We did the edit on this manuscript and, once all edits were approved and tracked changes were accepted, it was then converted to reflowing epub and mobi from the Word document. We also designed the front cover.

About the book
In 1931, Dilys Elizabeth Jamieson Williams applied for candidature for admission to the ordained ministry of the the Australian Presbyterian Church, the first woman of that denomination to do so. Though her application was stalled, Williams’ competence in Christian theology flourished, outshining many ordained ministers, who, at that time, were overwhelmingly men. Through later studies at Glasgow University, Williams’ embrace of biblical Hebrew enabled her to enliven the Semitic underlay of Jesus’ sayings. Scoffed as eccentric and lovelorn for controversialist Samuel Angus, Williams’ penetrative insights and capacity for leadership were rarely appreciated in her lifetime. In elucidating fragments of Williams’ life and thought and contextualizing these, Williams’ vibrancy of faith, life, and intellect is compared to the open door described in the Revelation of John.
