About the project
First of all, we met with the author, Ben Kehoe, in one of our publishing consultations, to discuss his plans for the book and what we could do for him. Then we did the cover design, then the print design of the interior of the book. It was printed via our print-on-demand service, which also covers a wide range of booksellers.

We also did a Marketing Stage 1 Action Plan for Ben and met with him again to direct him on the best way forward for his marketing campaign. The book was then converted into an ebook and distributed via our online distributors. We also organised audio book narration and distribution for Ben.

About the book
*A House of Lies is a continuing read from Interwoven, not a standalone book*

From the author of Interwoven comes the second book in the Belle Hamilton series, A House of Lies. Praise for Interwoven: "A truly beautiful, heart wrenching, tearful, but gripping read. A book I won't ever forget!!" - iTunes

"The ending was fantastic!! Sad, tragic, realistic. Get the tissues ready." - Goodreads

"A great story, fast paced and full of romance and action." - Amazon

Belle Hamilton is struggling to find her feet. She's trying to move on from that terrifying night in Paris a year ago but is finding it difficult. She’s plagued with nightmares and her long-distance relationship to Italian boyfriend, Andrea, is challenging.

When her father suffers a heart attack, Belle rushes to his bedside and overhears a whispered conversation that was never meant for her. A flood of revelations follows and suddenly, Belle’s entire world is turned upside down. More importantly, the mysterious death surrounding Riley’s mother thirty years earlier, comes into question. Was her death an accident? Did she jump or was she pushed? And why is nobody talking?

Belle and Riley embark on a quest to Scotland for answers. Amidst the raw beauty of the Highlands, they must unravel the past and piece together secrets that were carefully buried three decades ago. They are confronted with lies, betrayal, secrecy and the biggest mystery of all; what really happened to Bridget Alexander?

About the book
Casey has a new robot named Aon, and it is his job to teach him how to behave. Aon is keen to learn about the internet, so Casey informs him how children can stay safe online. Can he help Aon to understand how the actual world relates to the virtual world we use on computers and devices?

Testimonials:

About the project
We first started working with Ross on a rush version of an ebook. This ebook was based on his Word document manuscript, which included 12 hand-drawn illustrations, which had then been scanned. The ebook conversion was swift, with a cover design created quickly during the process. Within only a couple of weeks, we went from manuscript to published ebook.

Later, Ross decided he wanted to have a print version of his book, and we worked with him to make this dream a reality. We first started by reviewing Ross' illustrations, which had been quite rough (scroll to the bottom of this page to see a couple examples of the original drawings). We re-drew all his illustrations digitally in Adobe Illustrator to simplify and clarify them. Once the illustrations were complete we updated the front cover to include the back and spine, and gave it a few aesthetic adjustments. ...continue reading "Genuine Government"
