JB HI-FI Ebookstore is no more
Australian eBook Publisher prefers to aggregate with the four major ebook vendors, even though there are hundreds of others trying to gain a toe hold in the industry. The reason we keep to Apple iBooks, Amazon Kindle, Google Play, Kobo (and Barnes and Noble Nook for those who request it), is because they have the highest market share, with Amazon Kindle being the main player.
Recently we heard that JB HI-FI has announced they’ll no longer be selling ebooks, due to monetary loss. It’s certainly a sad time, but it only reinforces what we believe. Read more at Bookseller and Publisher.

The Alphabet Book of Nonsense
Print Cover Design, Print Book Design, Illustration Digitsation and Colouring
Author: Allison Jenkinson
Digital Artist: Glen Holman
The Alphabet Book of Nonsense. What's this all about? I wonder how can an alphabet book be nonsense? Grandma goat glues golf balls on the grass. Henry Hippo jumps over the hill wearing his hat. I've never heard of such nonsense. Bringing a little nonsense into children's learning can be a lot of fun, with the focus being their alphabet sounds. And with the illustrations being just as nonsense they work easily and simply with the book. Happy Learning!

“I’m not saying that writing a book is easy, but once that part is done there is much more work, to make people aware that it exists, so that they can buy it!
“After deciding to have Australian eBook Publisher publish Now that I’m Sixty, I knew, that one of the areas where I really needed help, was with marketing. While I know a bit about marketing, the bit that I know has nothing to do with books, especially ebooks! I decided to use the Australian eBook Publisher’s Marketing Stage One process.
“I was really pleased with the results. Nicole did a draft marketing plan and emailed to me. I looked at it, and had a ton of questions. We had a phone meeting to discuss all of the questions and the rational for the recommendations. Some that I would have rejected initially, made sense after the conversation. The plan was then finalised.
“There is a lot of work to do, mainly by me! But I now have a clear plan for how to attract my target market to Now that I’m Sixty.” A. Mary Smith, Author of Now that I’m Sixty
